A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we use the contents of your message only to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and time of access. We review aggregated activity to maintain the service and understand page use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may rely on cookies or comparable technology.
How the Information Is Used
These limited data support site operation, troubleshooting, audience counts, and page improvements. We neither sell lists of visitors nor assemble individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
County and state portals, libraries, archives, and outside search providers apply their own privacy terms. Review those terms before submitting information. Sponsored results in particular are delivered by a third party and are governed by that provider's policy.
Parties That May Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process ordinary logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising services may receive the automatic information described above. Other disclosure occurs only when valid legal process requires it.
Security and Retention
Connections are encrypted, and logs are retained only for as long as the stated purposes require. Because the site has no user accounts, it stores no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor has submitted information so it can be deleted.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete website-held personal data depend on where you live. Idaho does not have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute identified in the project research, so applicable federal and other state rights may vary. A request sent through the Contact page will be checked against our contact mailbox and server logs. Idaho state, Bonneville County, and Idaho Falls public records are controlled by their custodians, and requests concerning those records must go directly to the responsible office.
